Many of you may wonder why we choose to use the words "1 of the Find" to describe our unique collection of items.

I've been shopping vintage for many years. I started off when I was young, middle school to be exact. I grew up in a town where everyone had designers labels, popular brands and sported the newest in trend. Unfortunately I couldn't foot that bill. In order to express my unique style without a golden budget, I shopped Vintage. When everyone else was wearing Contempo Casuals, Esprit, and Benetton (all of which I opening covet now) I was mixing old Levi's, bowling shoes and Lacey 50s tops. Not everybody at my school appreciated my style but I did catch the eye of some of my mother's friends (in hein sight their opinions may have been more realistic then some of the trendy kids at the time, because not all 90s should come back!)

I use to hear, "I really like how you mix old stuff with new stuff" "Your style is very unique" "your style is 1 of a Kind!"

To make a long story short (fast forward 20 years) 1-of-a-Kind somehow turned into a 1 of a Find and I now get to express my love of all things unique and old into my stores. It's what guides my buying. Why carry what everyone else does when I can indulge my love for shopping Vintage and offer my clients conversation pieces, nostalgic memories and simply beautiful items. That's what's behind 1 of a Find and my love for what I do. I hope you enjoy our collection as much as I do.
